The Surf Ranch story began in 2008, when Canadian brothers Lucas and Travis Boychuk moved to Nicaragua and embarked on a mission to create a world-class surf resort.  Equipped with machetes, they spent weeks clearing the overgrown grass on a two-acre plot of land that would eventually become the Surf Ranch Resort in San Juan Del Sur.

 

Since then, the Surf Ranch brand has grown to include a second resort on 25 acres in Popoyo, Nicaragua and a stunning beachfront hotel in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.  The Surf Ranch is now international.
